Meet the Marketing Department

Want to learn more about our marketing team?

If you’re reading this, I’d like to personally say hello and welcome to the Custom Graphics blog – a place where we hope to help you learn a bit more about what we do, who we are and have a bit of fun along the way.

To start, I’ll share a little bit about myself, here’s me… and this one is written by that would be Laura, marketing manager and member of the Custom Graphics Crew for 2 years, 4 months and counting!

This weeks blog is all about getting to know the marketing team here at Custom Graphics and everything that we do! Together, all three of us work in unison to create the content that you see.

Shawn is the face of the marketing and sales area. Working one on one with customers in order to build interpersonal connections to show that we truly care and prioritize your experience here at Custom Graphics.

Not only is Laura the head of the marketing ideas, she also monitors the website, LinkedIn and our social medias such as Instagram, Facebook and TikTok. As well as assisting our art department with the designing of car wraps, decals, signs and much much more. In addition to Laura, Ellie was recently hired into the new position of “marketing intern”, to work under Laura and assist with the production of social media posts. In addition to assisting in the social media posts, Ellie also aides in blogging on the website, creating email marketing lists, and photographing projects.

We are so excited to introduce ourselves to our loyal customers!

Shawn Bagne

Sales / Marketing

Shawn is originally from Moorhead, Minnesota. After graduating high school, Shawn decided to stay local for college and attended MSUM. Shawn graduated from MSUM with a degree in business management along with a minor in psychology. After graduation, Shawn moved to the Minneapolis area to work for a large company as marketing coordinator. Seven years later, he returned to the FM area and started his job here at Custom Graphics. Over the course of his 15 years here, Shawn has worked in several different positions, sales being his favorite. At this time, Shawn is happily married with two daughters and an adult stepson.

Favorite childhood movie?
  • Goonies or Star Wars
Favorite local restaurant?
  • The Toasted Frog “The drinks and truffle fries are amazing.”
Favorite Hobbies?
  • Spending time at the lake entertaining friends and family, as well as bingo.
Fun Fact:
  • In college, Shawn spent a year attending East Carolina University as a nation exchange student. Shawn is also bad at spelling!

Laura Limesand

Graphic Artist / Marketing Manager

Laura grew up in Sanborn, North Dakota. After high school, Laura attended NDSU to major in marketing as well as a minor in honors. While in school, Laura worked at a graphic design / copy shop / post office, as well as learning a lot through her internship with NDSU athletics. During her internship, Laura helped with in-game entertainment, fan engagement and social media. At this time, Laura has worked here at Custom Graphics for a little over 2 years. Since taking this position, Laura has helped Custom Graphics re-design their logo, re-brand interior and exterior signage, create a new website with an e-commerce store, and revamping all of their social media accounts and marketing strategies.

Favorite Hobbies?
  • Playing volleyball, crafting and traveling
Fun Fact:
  • Laura loves plants, she has somewhere around 80 in her apartment!

Ellie Johnson

Marketing Intern

Ellie grew up in Pelican Rapids, MN and graduated from Pelican Rapids high school in 2020. She is currently a junior at Concordia College Moorhead pursuing a degree in communication studies and graphic design. Along with being a student, Ellie is involved in the student-athlete advisory committee at Concordia as well as playing on the women’s golf team. Ellie has recently been hired as the marketing intern and works with Laura to manage the website along with email campaigns and social media.

Favorite local restaurant?
  • Poke bowl in downtown Fargo
Favorite Hobbies?
  • Reading, playing with her dogs and golfing
Fun Fact:
  • Ellie made a hole in one when she was 15, while playing in a Jr. PGA tournament in Duluth.
